The Little Blogs I Love

A few weeks ago I received the Liebster Blog Award. (Liebster is German for dearest). It is an award given to support and encourage the little blogs, with less than 200 followers. Amy, from Punk Princess Creations passed this award on to me, and her selection of my blog really made my day.

Although her award brightened my day, I was at first hesitant to play along (and pass the award on to five others) because it seemed like a silly chain mail / pyramid sort of scheme. But after thinking about it for a few weeks, and reflecting on how pleasantly surprised I was to receive the award, I decided why not share the encouragement? Hopefully this award will brighten and encourage a few of my fellow bloggers.

If nothing else, it gives me a chance to showcase a few of my favorite little blogs. These blogs are totally worth reading and I hope you will pay each of them a visit!

Congrats to those awarded! If you want to play along and share the encouragement. Here's the fine print:
1. Thank the person who presented you with the award on your blog.
2. Link back to the blogger who gave you the award on your blog.
3. Copy and paste the award on your blog.
4. Present the Liebster Blog Award to 5 other bloggers with less than 200 followers.
5. Let them know you've chosen them by leaving a comment on their blog.

1. The Money-Pit
Kim's before and after home renovations are AMAZING! She is uber productive, completing one gianormous project after another, meanwhile photographing and blogging about it all. Seriously, why does she not have like a million followers?! She's incredible! Here's a peak at her new laundry room that I am totally in love with. Go check out what it looked like before.

3. Sugar and Spice
Here's another Amy worth reading. She writes about many topics: raising little girls, recipes, Christian book recommendations. She also hosts a weekly link party, Drab to Fab Fridays. For being such a young blog, this site reflects all the hard work and dedication Amy has put into it.

4. One Dog Woof
Chi Wei is the girl behind this awesome blog. She is creative. She is techie. And she is an exceptional writer. I love the uniqueness of her posts, such as this unique modular origami, which she displays on her spring mantle.

Now go check these ladies out and leave them some comment luv!

Until next time,
Shelby
