About this blog...
This blog began on a whim in September of 2011, quite simply, because I was bored. My husband was gone on a temporary work assignment, summer TV was nothing but reruns, and my baby (who's not so little anymore) was in bed by 7:00 every night. With nothing better to do in the evenings, I began experimenting with crafts and teaching myself to sew. The blog was a way to showcase my learning process with my mom and two extremely talented mother-in-laws.

My husband completed his work assignment and is now home for good, but I continue to blog because it's become a hobby that I really enjoy. Because I blog for fun, my posting schedule is a little sporadic, but I average one post a week. Your kind comments and pins to Pinterest or the fuel that keeps this blog going. Thank you!


About me....

• Before kids, I worked at an imaging center as a sonographer.
• My three favorite mobile apps are Pandora, Pinterest, and the Reece and Nichols Home Finder App.
• My DVR contains at least 37 recordings of Daniel Tiger episodes (for my preschooler) MLB games (for my husband) and automatically records episodes of Nashville and The Voice (for me).
• I prefer brownies over birthday cake and eat my Oreos dipped in peanut butter. I dislike pickles, olives, and cilantro.
