First Key Housewarming Gift

My little cousin recently bought his first home. On closing day, he was presented with seven - yes seven - copies of the door key. Remembering THIS idea from AGAAGG, I asked for one of the duplicate keys to make a first key housewarming gift.

Here is my version of the framed first key idea.

The frame was my first attempt at the distressed look, which I'll admit took two attempts. Next time I'll be sure to let the paint dry thoroughly before distressing (otherwise huge irregular chunks of paint will chip off and you'll have to start over).
